Dear Professor King,
My name is John Quint and I hail from Cincinnati, Ohio. I have practiced but by no means perfected a variety of writing styles over the course of my four high school years. The styles ranged from research papers to creative poetry and everything between. My field of study is aviation with a business minor. I am investing in this exciting training to someday be an airline pilot. In my free time I like to play sports and spend time with friends. Beyond the classroom I am constantly challenged with keeping up with the weather, regulations, and currency of flight. I want to get an A in this class which will require me to display my hard work and efforts on paper as well as apparently blogs. Also I expect to better my writing skills to enhance my ability to coerce employers into hiring me for the big bucks.
